Eleven cast members of DK Hollywood (Tokyo-based-theater-company) are coming back to NYC. As they strive to update the image of Japanese Performing Arts, they will present an encore performance of their hit comedy, "We Are The Sperm Cells." Their philosophy is a great show translates to great laughter in any language.

The play is performed in Japanese with English MC narrations.

Story and its background
The sperm cells that land on a woman’s belly will not give up their mission of fertilization. As they race towards her womb, they join forces while fighting off fatal enemies such as Kleenex, Body Soap, and White Blood Cells. Could they accomplish their mission within the limited time? This heart-warming drama by Daisuke Koshikawa, was previously performed in NYC in March `05. Overcoming the language barrier, this piece made New York audiences laugh and cry hard every 3 seconds.

About the director, Daisuke Koshikawa
Starting out at Actors Studio and later became an actor of Seinenza Theatrical Co., Ltd, which solidified its foundation by dramatizing novels by SHIINA Rinzo and MISHIMA Yukio, and presenting works of young playwrights. In 1984, he formed a legendary comedy group called “CHIBICCO GANG”. He became a star with his innovative theatrical taste to appear on TV and radio about 8 to 10 times a week. Disbanding his group, he established his theatrical company “D.K HOLLYWOOD” in 1994. A legendary comedian, Daisuke Koshikawa now has been active not only as playwright and director continuing to present great works with his company’s unique actors and actresses.
