Synopsis:
A mother and her four small children are moving into an
apartment. The mother told the landlord that her husband
is away for a long business trip and she has only one kid.
She didn't let the landlord know that she is a single-mother
and has four kids and all have the different father.
In their house to hide the fact that four
children and their single-mother are living together in
a small apartment, no loud talking and no going
out to
the balcony are allowed. Their
life
is at most humble, but they are happy together. Untile
one day the mother left the kids to be with her new lover.
That day is the begining of the survival of the four children
in the heart of Tokyo that nobody knows.
Based on the true story. Yuya Yagira who played the eldest
of the four kids received Best Actor award from Cannes
Film Festival at the age of 14, the youngest person to
recive the award in the history of Cannes.

One of Japan's most popular actors, Toshiyuki Nishida, plays the boss
of the Yakuza, who loves James Brown all the way. He's been depressed
because he is about to be put into jail in a few days. He won't be able
to go to the James Brown concert as planed and he wanted to see his daughter
before he goes to jail, but it doesn't seem to be going well. To cheer
the boos up, his right-hand Kobun (gang members) orders young subordinates
to abduct James Brown.
It's funny and very heart-warming movie. Kids-friendly, too.
